Q: What do I need to bring to my appointment with Timothi?
A: Your current headshot and resume as well as a filled out copy of the actor’s questionnaire which you can download on the rates page or by clicking here. You can also email all of your info to Timothi ahead of time and she will review your information before your meeting. Less paper = greener planet.
Q: I’m ready to book my shoot. Can I bypass the meeting or questionnaire and just book my shoot?
A: You can book your shoot whenever you’re ready on the rates page or by clicking here. Your shoot with timothi will probably be very different than your previous shoots. Her strong emphasis on branding, wardrobe and location takes a lot of creativity, time and planning which is evident In her cinematic style. Her in depth meeting with you is where the groundwork will be laid for the formulation of your brand.

Q: What’s all this about Branding? What does that have to do with my headshot or portrait?
A: As an actor you are selling yourself. Your brand is the essence of yourself as a product. It falls somewhere between how you view yourself, how others view you and the kind of career you see yourself creating. Through location choices and wardrobe timothi will create images that will tell the story of your brand. This is a fun and exciting process.
Q: How far in advance do I need to book a session with Timothi?
A: Timothi only books 12 sessions a month so it is best to book at least 2 weeks in advance so that she will have time to create and style your custom shoot.
Q: How long will the session take?
A: About 2 hours for men and 3 hours for women. Timothi shoots exclusively on location so be prepared for anything. There will definitely be walking between locations, quick stops for cappuccinos and wardrobe changes and maybe even a cab or train ride. Never a dull moment.
Q: Do I need a makeup artist?
A: Having a professional makeup artist working on the shoot can make all the difference. It takes your shoot from the mundane to to the magnificent. This is a very competitive business and you always want to look your best. Your photo shoot is your time. Whatever you can do to make yourself feel and look extra special is worth it. My makeup artist is amazing. Not only does she stay for the whole shoot to change and tweek your makeup she is also really fun and brings great energy to what we are trying to create.
Q: How many looks will I get out of my session?
A: You will get three image concepts that will all tie in with the brand we are creating.
Q: Is there anything else I should know?
A: Nope. Just relax surrender to the process and most of all enjoy the ride.
